Were September 2020 in Himmelpfort. Wanted to take a little rest. When asked whether we could sit down at a table on the terrace 5 minutes before the official opening time, we were warned sharply that it was still closed. Who apparently doesn't need it ...

Excellent food, very friendly and also very quick. So this restaurant is a must if you are in the vicinity.

A lighthouse in gastronomic nirvana on the Stolpsee. Small but well thought out card, everyone can find something for themselves. All dishes are very nicely arranged and the taste is great. I can only recommend. A small house with a manageable number of places - it's better to reserve.

Great place to eat and drink! Price / performance: top Nice staff and delicious food! We had a schnitzel that was still served in butter, a burger with super juicy meat and fish that stood out with its great wild garlic sauce. We'd love to come back.

If you are not served at all, it is difficult to say something about the service and the food. Others who came later than we had their meal and we didn't get any food, weren't the only ones the waitress turned off.

The place, the location are great. We are traveling by boat and have stopped twice here for the Christmas house and the monastery garden. The ice cream is delicious! The menu looks good too - but we always wanted ice cream on hand! 1 star deduction is available for the pretty small balls at a proud 1.3 euros. The 2nd star deduction for the EXTREME waiting times (without which there would have been a queue). The first time about 15 minutes and we almost missed the sleep. The second time (a day later) we moored to explore the place. Here we were kept waiting for almost 30 minutes. Extremely annoying ...

After we were rejected with another shake of the head at another restaurant for dinner without words, we got a table here just before 7. Actually close the kitchen right away, but we were still allowed in and served friendly. Otherwise we would have gone to bed without dinner. The food was delicious and the service was courteous. Inside it was cozy, warm and cozy. Prices are fine too. We will definitely come back here again this week

Have had excellent lunch there and loved it. There are many better located restaurants in Himmelpfort, but they are far from being able to prepare this tasty, fresh and exceptionally creative food. Together with the friendly service and the balanced price-performance ratio, we are glad to have got to know this place and would love to come back!

When we arrived a table was occupied and we were served relatively quickly. The outside area of ​​the restaurant filled up quickly and we could see that the service couldn't keep up and guests even asked when they could order. No distance rules were observed there. One was pointed out on signs, but nothing more. We also didn't have to store our data. Long live Corona!

Unfortunately I can not say anything about the quality of the food and drinks. After I stood in vain at the counter yesterday (for a long time) and was not served ... I started again. A host who hides behind his only drink order and a waitress who passed me several times apparently do not need walk-in customers. I just hope that the four customers behind me didn't do the same. Too bad, but I would like to try again.

The Mönchsschänke is highly recommended. The food is very good. Starter, liver, mashed potatoes and fish were great. And the service is nice and friendly 😊 After the mobile phone reception was very bad in the village, we were happy about free Wi-Fi.

We have been coming to the Mönchsschänke for 5 years. Very good food, very nice employees and really holiday The atmosphere. Please put the hamburger 🍔 on the menu again our son was sad. Summer 2018 the hamburger is back on the menu, delicious 🍹👍🤩
